Fall Parade of Homes 2018 Recap

Posted by Kensington Homes Team on November 26, 2018

This fall’s Parade of Homes was another success, seeing many new faces browsing our showhomes throughout the run of the parade.

We were also fortunate to be acknowledged among our peers in the new home industry for a few award-winning showhomes that edged the competition in their price category.

Still open for regular public viewing hours throughout the week, check out these exciting display homes that were recognized among the top of the industry.

The Cedarburg (316 Cherrywood Road)

We’re so happy our brand-new design took home a prize! We held nothing back in the Cedarburg’s presentation, finishing it with the type of top-tier finishes you’d expect from a custom home.

We’re very honoured we could compete with the other high-end luxury homes in this category!

In case you missed it, our Cedarburg at 316 Cherrywood Road in Bridgwater Trails is a must-see for its dream kitchen; sprawling kitchen island; walk-through pantry and a great room with a full custom entertainment centre and fireplace.

Not to be outdone, the master is finished with a spa-like ensuite – including a standalone soaker tub separate from an oversize shower, double sinks and cozy, heated tile flooring.

The Clearbrook (367 Bonaventure Drive West)

The Clearbook is a tried-and-true winner, picking up more accolades for its fresh finishes in the Bonavista neighbourhood.

The plan impresses with its highly functional space for hosting, anchored by a tiled custom electric fireplace and entertainment centre.

The open main floor offers a galley-style kitchen and large island, and each of the roomy home’s three bedrooms boast their own walk-ins.

The Ridgecrest (4 Kestrel Way)

The Ridgecrest bested the competition in a winning display in Ridgewood West. A chef’s kitchen wows with professionally designed cabinetry, a chimney hood fan, and decadent walk-in-pantry.

You’ll never run out of room to host people, with a bonus living space in an upstairs loft, and multiple spaces for dining formally or informally.

A sprawling rear deck offers another opportunity to dine al fresco and treat hosts to the feeling of being away or on retreat in the relaxed neighbourhood edging the city limits.

Each of these beautiful award-winning showhomes is still open for regular public viewing. Find hours and directions to all of our active showhomes here.
